Historic setting, modern amenities
The National University of Ireland, Maynooth, traces its origins to the 1795 founding of nearby St. Patrick’s College. The spacious campus is a lovely blend of 19th-century buildings, modern research and support facilities, and extensive grounds. A cosmopolitan university with nearly 9,000 students from all over Ireland and 75 other countries, NUIM enjoys a growing international reputation.
Facilities and food
Choristers will stay on the campus of the college. Only single rooms are available. Each room is ensuite; there are five rooms on a floor plus a kitchenette/lounge area. We will reside and have meals on the new side of campus. Rehearsals and classes will be on the older/original side of campus. Distance between dorms and dining less than five minutes. Distance between dorms and rehearsal/classes about 15 minutes. There will be a local concierge during the week to help with questions about sightseeing, restaurants, travel, etc.
